Salary from £20,000- £25,000 pro rata + Excellent benefits package
This is a part time position, working Fri/Sat/Sun 10-6pm OR Mon/Tue 8-4pm + Fri 10-6pm
Due to growth within the business, we are looking to recruit a part time Immediate Support Counsellor, who has a recognised counselling qualification. You will be confident in delivering therapeutic support via the helpline and be comfortable working to a time-limited framework whilst always adhering to the BACP code of ethics and practice.
They will also be confident in providing information and signposting on a wide range of issues, (for which training will be provided), and have sound administrative skills enabling them to provide clerical assistance as and when appropriate.

What's involved?
- Provision of therapeutic support via our helpline
- Provision of telephone counselling to employees of our clients.
- Provision of information and signposting on a specified range of issues.
- Assisting with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Act as a first point of contact for Health Assured customers.
- Minimum of a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling
- Minimum of 150 counselling hours
- Membership with BACP
- Experience in the delivery of telephone counselling
- Experience of providing information and signposting in a supportive context
- Flexible work attitude and reliable work history
- Self-motivated and committed to providing continuous service
- Excellent communication skills
- BACP membership paid for- valued at £180
- Monthly supervision paid for- valued at £60 per month
- Accreditation paid for- valued at £230
