An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Development Manager (North & Mid Wales) to join our clients Cymru team. The successful candidate will support the Welsh Government’s commitment to the delivery of high quality early years’ education and childcare, working closely with local authorities to deliver good quality provision where required.
Our client is proud to be working in partnership with the 4 other leading childcare organisations in Wales to deliver a bilingual integrated service that will ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families across Wales as Cwlwm (Childcare Wales Learning and Working Mutually). Cwlwm supports the Welsh Government to ensure that families across Wales can access affordable, quality childcare providing innovative solutions to create flexible childcare and play opportunities to meet the needs of parents and their families.
As Regional Development Manager (North and Mid Wales) you will:
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships and relationships with local authorities and partners to ensure maximum benefit for day nurseries in the region
- Work with stakeholders and Cwlwm partners to support the delivery of our clients strategic contract.
- Support the effective delivery of national programmes, initiatives and services across the region e.g. Childcare Offer for Wales
- Work with the Cymru team in identifying early years sector workforce needs to develop resources and deliver and manage projects inc. training to meet the needs of the early years and childcare sector in Wales.
- Provide networking opportunities for our client’s members and other childcare providers
- Generate income to support the organisational development of NDNA Cymru
