SET Healthcare has a fantastic opportunity for a Physiotherapist to work within MSK in the Wolverhampton area
Our client needs cover for approximately 8-12 sessions per month. Each session last approximately 3-3.5 hours and will ideally be booked for two sessions per day. We require a physio that can cover 4-6 full days per month.
Job Type / Category
Our client works in offender health within a number of HMP sites providing physiotherapy and podiatry services across the country. You will be working alongside other health professionals in the healthcare centre of the prison providing MSK physiotherapy. You will treat prisoners referred to you via the onsite referral system.
There are excellent clinical environments on sites with access to other health care professionals and good rehabilitation facilities. Working within a prison can be challenging but also rewarding. It will assist you to develop your clinical skills, professionalism and personal strengths within a different, but stimulating work environment.
You will be given all the support and training needed to deliver the safest and highest quality care to your patients and you will be supported by a well-established management team.
They are looking for staff to join them at several sites in the general Wolverhampton area.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
You will have a physiotherapy degree (graduate or post graduate), HCPC and CSP registration and MSK outpatient experience. You will be at least 2 years post qualification.
Due to the nature of the establishment, employment is subject to receipt of satisfactory references, enhanced DBS check and prison vetting.
Effective communication, organisation and IT literacy are key qualities and efficient time management/time keeping abilities are vital. You will be responsible for your patients care, effective note keeping, participating in clinical governance infrastructure such as risk management and incident reporting, participating in company audits to improve quality and effectiveness and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Each session is £100 - £110 - so within a day you can complete two sessions and earn £200 - £220
You will be self employed, so can be paid into a Ltd company
