If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Continuity Manager to join our Asset’s department!
‘Deliver high quality homes and services for our customers’ is one of our five strategic aims, and the one that sets out our commitment to keeping our homes in great condition. This is why we are looking for an experienced Business Continuity Manager.
As a Business Continuity Manager you will design, deliver and manage the Business Continuity Policy, standards and associated controls whilst being a trusted advisor that provides; functional leadership, training, awareness and specialist knowledge of global relevant standards, regulation and future direction. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing continuity plans for our third party suppliers and contractors.
To be successful in your application for this role you must have experience of business continuity in a similar sector (construction/ property management/ social housing sector) alongside substantial experience of stakeholder management. Alongside these qualifications you must be an effective communicator (verbal/written) with well developed presentation skills, possessing the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels to achieve results.
You’ll also be expected to support with the organisation’s Fire Risk strategy, a hot topic in the industry at the moment! Don’t worry if you haven’t got any Fire Risk experience, this isn’t necessary. Here at whg we invest in our people and we would be willing to upskill you in this area.
The Asset’s department are currently under represented by Female and BME colleagues, therefore we particularly welcome applications from Female and BME applicants.
