At Macquarie, we look for innovative, driven and talented students who share our drive for excellence.  People who drive their own success, are high calibre, motivated and creative.  Is this you?  Then read on to find out more about our Insight Programme for first year, penultimate and final year undergraduates at Macquarie interested in exploring careers in Technology.

About our Insight Programme

During our Insight programme, you’ll join us for two days in our London office and will gain an insight into the career opportunities in our Technology division.  Our Technology teams are integrated into our business with a strong infrastructure and operations basis that supports all of Macquarie, layered with robust business and enterprise-wide solutions. Our portfolio of work spans across significant strategic initiatives, business initiatives and external and regulatory initiatives. The work we do demonstrates the extent to which Technology is integral to Macquarie’s businesses.

You can expect to take part in interactive skills- based workshops, case studies and a Hackathon that reflect the varied roles within Technology at Macquarie.   Hear from our people from graduates to senior leaders during career focused panels and networking opportunities.

Top performers will be fast-tracked to an early interview for Macquarie’s 2020 Technology Internship or Graduate Programmes.

Our Insight Programme will take place on the 6th and 7th August at our London office and your accommodation and meals will be provided

Applications are open from 24 April - 30 June and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Company

Working at Macquarie

We believe in providing a positive environment for all our staff that is innovative and inspiring. For our female staff, Macquarie’s senior leaders are actively involved in increasing the representation of females in management positions.  In June 2014, we launched a mentoring programme for females, with the following two objectives:

  • Address female retention rates at Senior Manager level and improve our diverse pipeline of talent;
  • Engage female Senior Managers by providing tools and support around their personal development;

The programme pairs up Senior Managers with Directors, who meet on a monthly basis, and are supported by active group sessions (bi-monthly) with an external facilitator.

We select some of the brightest minds to help us in solving complex challenges for our clients.  We recognise that recruiting talent from varied backgrounds is essential to improving our understanding of the marketplace, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving capabilities in our businesses.

Because of this, our commitment to you is to create a diverse and inclusive workplace regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or cultural background.

We make this commitment not only because it is the right thing to do but it opens up a world of opportunity, securing the future of our people, our success and our business
