Are you an experienced Transport Supervisor looking for the next step in your career? Do you have experience working in a fast-paced transport office? We’re looking for a Transport Supervisor to join our site in Selby on a full time, permanent basis.

Working a predominantly Monday-Friday shift pattern, we’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 19 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Oversee the process of receiving orders, allocating resources and despatch Managing delivery issues and customer communication Arrange subcontractors and couriers as required Provide operational KPI information, fleet compliance and fleet administration Manage driver’s performance on the road

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Experience within a fast-paced transport team Previous experience using transport planning software Exceptional IT skills, particularly Excel Experience of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external customers Excellent decision-making, coaching and communication skills
