Our client is recruiting caring and positive thinking Support Workers, who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives to join one of its prestigious staff teams in a Residential Care Home for adults living with learning disabilities and mental health disorders in Rainworth.

Location: Rainworth, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £16,816 - £19,088 per annum, pro-rata (£8.74 - £9.92 per hour)

Hours: 0-37 hours per week (bank, part and full time hours available)

Closing Date: Friday 31 May 2019

You will be expected to work varied shifts on a rota basis including weekends, bank holidays, night working and sleep-ins. A 33% bonus is paid for waking nights and double time paid for Christmas and New Year shifts. In addition, an allowance of £36.78 is paid for sleep-ins.

About the role of Support Worker:

As a Support Worker you will provide physical and emotional support and health care of the highest standard, ensuring that respect, dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Our client is committed to making a difference in the lives of transitioning adults through their drive for excellence. The support they provide is person-centered and may include personal care and domestic duties.

About you:

As a Support Worker you will bereliable, resilient and empathetic in your service delivery and approach. You need to be able to demonstrate an understanding towards individuals who are experiencing great changes in their lives that may have learning difficulties, autism and some behaviours of concern.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, although not essential, as full training will be provided.
