Insurance Administrator
Cheltenham
Salary: £negotiable based on experience
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

I am looking to recruit an Insurance Administrator to join a reputable Insurance firm in Cheltenham.
My client requires an Administrator / Processor to support the Customer Service team in processing renewal paperwork and requests from customers to make change to their existing companies.
Previous Insurance based work is essential for this role.
Responsibilities of the Insurance Administrator:
o To interpret customer requirements regarding changes to policies and action those changes to include the calculation of premiums and underwriting decisions
o To liaise with Insurance Companies and ensure the motor insurance database is notified within deadlines
o To administer files, process paperwork and enter and update computer data
Requirements to become the Insurance Administrator:
o A level of understanding and working knowledge of insurance policies including commercial vehicles, liability, goods in transit and legal expenses
o A good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and SSP (or experience of using a similar system)
o Experience of working in the insurance industry
o A confident telephone manner and the ability to be accurate and precise whilst working under pressure and meeting deadlines
o A friendly and approachable personality with the ability to adapt to customer requirements with patience and understanding
Benefits of the role:
Holiday: 28 days per annum including Bank Holidays
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience
Pension and Death in Service Schemes available after a qualifying period
