Part-time Accounts Clerk

Gloucester

Salary - £18,000 - £19,000

We are pleased to be working with an established independent manufacturing company in the Gloucester area who are looking for a permanent Accounts Clerk on a part-time basis as soon as possible.

You will be reporting to the Management Accountant and working closely within the Accounts team as an Accounts Clerk.

Key responsibilities:

Nominal and Sales ledger data entry
Bank reconciliations
Updating direct debit entries
Post wages
Summarising cash/card and bank transfers by branch on a monthly basis
Producing invoices and checking credit notes
Assisting with sales queries
Any other ad hoc tasks required by Accountant

Key skills required:

IT literate especially Microsoft Excel
Self-motivated with great attention to detail
Previous experience in a similar Accounts Clerk/Finance Administrator role is preferred
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Able to multi-task
