Our client is an upper tier COMAH Site operating 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join their leading manufacturing company, to assist them in an interim role, working a fixed term 6 month contract on a part time basis.
As a HR Manager, your duties will be:
* Support the local Managers in the best HR practice regarding the wellbeing of employees.
* Be actively involved in the hiring and negotiations of employees.
* Align training in soft skills with more technical aspects.
* Implement coaching, ensuring group and business policies are upheld.
* Ensure frequent communication with internationally based colleagues and managers is maintained.
* Keep up to date with legal amendments and procedures.
An ideal HR Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:
* Preferably have working experience within a Chemical or Processing industry.
* Must be CIPD qualified.
* Ability to succeed in a unionised environment.
* Ideally have experience in coaching and empowerment for Managers.
* Be reasonably self-sufficient in legal matters.
* Ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
* Excellent problem-solving skills
