Our client are seeking to appoint a part-time member to their team of hotline staff answering telephone enquiries to give advice on a range of issues. The post would suit recently retired leaders/ administrators (or candidates looking for a more flexible style of working/ part time hours) of educational institutions with good experience of school or college leadership and a strong interest in professional issues.
Hotline officers provide telephone advice to individual members. They work from home and may live anywhere in the UK. The current vacancy is for a 0.4 post usually worked as two full days per week. Officers usually work to an agreed pattern although flexibility over days worked is required.
This role is paid on a five-point incremental range from £52,712 – £58,064 per annum (£21,085 - £23,226 pro rata 0.4) Reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses are also covered. The postholder will work from home, with IT and telephone equipment provided, with attendance at HQ in Leicester and other locations across the UK as required.
Our client also offers a very generous package of benefits, including a pension scheme to which the association contributes 9%.
