We have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of Roche UK - a growing, innovative and fast paced environment.

With over 1500 people occupying our site in Welwyn, you will play a major role within our Commercial (Rx) function. Other areas include; Early Development (pRED), Product Development (PD) and Corporate.

Reporting directly to the Head of Centre of Excellence in the Product Strategy Directorate, you will partner specific Integrated Franchise Teams (IFT) and Directorates to ensure events are best in class by optimizing the content of these events and challenging the status quo.

This role will require you to business partner between the Events team and key stakeholders ensuring customer relationships are maximized. Working closely with your fellow Event Managers and the Head of Centre of Excellence you will be passionate about driving the success of the team. As well as supporting the business with specific and bespoke events you will also provide support for our Rx Head office, for example, annual kick off meeting.

To drive the success of the team you will live our vision, understand the organizational priorities and requirements. At the same time ensure the highest standard of work is delivered, you will be expected to identify areas for improvement, be innovative in your approach and draw on your experience to provide solutions exceeding all expectations. You will also work closely with some of our key agencies to ensure our business needs are met.

Naturally you will be a seasoned Events Manager with the ability to demonstrate a proven track record of personal leadership coupled with evidence of working within a fast paced corporate and agency environment. You will possess excellent communication, presentation and business partnering skills.

As an experienced Events Manager ideally from the Pharmaceutical Industry or other regulated industry, you will have an in-depth knowledge of events and travel terminology. You will possess a high level understanding of MS Office, C-VENT, Event App & virtual meeting technologies.
