My client based between Newmarket and Cambridge is seeking a Part Time Marketing and Research Assistant.

Hours: 9-5.30 Flexible working will be considered also - Minimum of 3 days a week or equivalent.
Salary £12.50 per hour (Pro rata of 24-25k per year)

Role Description
Seeking a part-time Marketing & Research Assistant to work alongside the existing team and the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager works on a consultancy basis one day per week, therefore this role offers a great opportunity for the Marketing Assistant to take direction from the Marketing Manager and really prove themselves within the role.

The business also has a regular need to research companies, monitor M&A activity throughout the technology industry and clarify market opportunities.

This is a varied position requiring motivation and initiative to provide marketing and research assistance to support the Company in achieving its on-going objectives.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work with the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Preparing and implementing direct marketing emails campaigns in accordance with the email strategy
Preparing regular email results reports and providing suggestions to increase click rates
Researching companies & markets
Processing automatic responses from emails
Scheduling calls for the Directors (as required) in the company CRM system
Website updates as required
Preparing Google Analytics reports from the website and providing suggestions to increase internet presence and browser engagement
Seminar organisation, preparation and attendance
Refreshing the media list and assisting with the production, circulation of and follow up of press releases to relevant media
Data sourcing and updating CRM system
Assisting with the implementation of the company's social media strategy
Assisting with other marketing activities as needed

Key Knowledge & Skills
Good computer skills using Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Analytical skills
Experience researching on internet/databases
Experience of working with CRM Systems
Some Wordpress/html knowledge would be advantageous (ideal but not essential)
Experience of working with 3rd party email marketing systems (ideal but not essential)
Google Analytics experience (ideal but not essential)
Excellent organisational skills
Professional communication skills
