Job Role: Part-Time Marketing & Communications Officer (3 days)
Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire
Salary: Up to £25k Pro rata
Type: 9 month contract
As the Marketing and Communications Officer you will occupy a key interfacing role in delivering the communications and marketing aspects of this high quality and customer focused Medical Services company.
The Communications and Marketing Officer position is a stand-alone role and therefore the post-holder will need to be confident in dealing with staff at all levels of the organisation and will be responsible for maintaining and delivering all aspects of day-to-day marketing and communications in order to support its staff and existing customer base.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the day to day coordination and delivery of all marketing activities and supporting materials including, but not limited to:
Updates or amendments to existing marketing collateral, including leaflets, posters and brochures
Updates to the websites (via third party suppliers where necessary)
Managing social media profiles
Writing and distributing email newsletters (internal and external)
Keeping up-to-date with stock levels of promotional branded goods and ordering more when required
Providing support for events – such as collating marketing collateral and display banners for staff to use
Supporting our charity fundraising partnerships
Issuing and distributing press releases if required
Acting as brand guardian – ensuring all marketing and communications are within the brand guidelines and advising staff accordingly
Liaising with external marketing organisations as required. Behaviours

You will demonstrate the highest levels of integrity at all times and be prepared to participate in the ongoing development of the organisation to help in assisting to improve the cost-effective provision of service delivery to customers.
Required experience
Educated to at least A Level standard or equivalent
Basic marketing experience
Good communicator both verbally and written
Excellent attention to detail
Good proof reader and ability to understand consistency across all communications
IT literate with good knowledge of all MS Office applications Desirable Skills
Wordpress
Microsoft Publisher
MailChimp
Social Media (LinkedIn & Twitter)
Scheduling tools i.e Hootsuite Personal Attributes
A self-starter with drive and enthusiasm
Self-motivated, energetic and personable with outstanding communication skills, able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written
Capable of working flexibly
Ability to work on own and make quality decisions
Able to set and meet strict targets and deadlines. Working Hours:
15-20 hours per week to be worked between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday – exact hours to be agreed
