Brighton College has an opportunity for a Minibus Driver to join the team based in Brighton. You will join us on a part time , permanent basis (25 hours per week) during term time and in return, receive a competitive salary of £8,775 per annum inclusive of holiday pay and attendance at INSET days .
The Role – Minibus Driver
We are seeking a conscientious, flexible and approachable individual to manage one minibus route to safely transport pupils to and from the College on a daily basis in accordance with the published schedule.
About you
The successful Minibus Driver will hold a full, clean, UK D1 or PCV driving licence and be required to carry out pre and post journey vehicle checks. He/she will work closely with the Buses’ Transport Manager, Supervisor and fellow bus drivers. Confidence in working with young people is essential.
Minibus Driver Working Hours
Normal hours of work will be as required to manage one bus route to and from school, including ensuring that the mini bus is fit to drive and is kept clean or as agreed by the person to whom you are responsible. Please note the route allocated may change from time to time. The first collection time for pupils at the beginning of a route is approximately 7:00am, with collection for the return route from the College starting at 4:40pm. In extreme weather there is a requirement for flexibility on start times. An additional two days per year will be required for INSET day and various training.
