The successful candidate will play a leading role in delivering high profile and impactful investments which will make a meaningful contribution to government housebuilding targets. In particular, the role will involve:
Building strong relationships across a broad range of financial and housing market stakeholders.
Identifying potential partners who share Homes England's ambition and have the capabilities and/or capital to bring increased housebuilding to bear.
Leading discussions and negotiations with potential partners to shape and develop investment opportunities.
Liaising with internal stakeholders including Transactions, Portfolio Management, Operations, Risk, Legal and Finance colleagues to progress investment opportunities through the approval and implementation process.
Actively participating in establishing the ongoing governance for new products within the wider Homes England framework, to ensure relevant stakeholder contributions are considered and coordinated.
Using research and analytics to report on the impact of our interventions and, in turn, inform future investment and product development strategies.
Working with Homes England's regional teams to establish local priorities and consider how best the team may support the achieving of those aims.

ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who will be able to demonstrate:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
An ability to disseminate and simplify complex information and concepts.
An understanding of real estate investment, property development and financing.
Experience of assessing and negotiating strong commercial outcomes.
An understanding of investment structures and financing tools utilised within the capital raising spectrum.
An understanding of risk identification, mitigation and management approaches.
Experience of managing multi-disciplinary project teams including internal & external stakeholders and professional advisors through project lifecycles.
A collaborative approach to working and recognition of the value diversity plays in optimising outcomes.
