Summary

Are you looking for a part time role in engineering? Whether you're currently studying or maybe looking to earn a bit extra, we have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Turning Setter/Operator to join a very successful motorsport parts manufacturer. This role is a part-time position with flexible hours during the week (25 hours) and is offering a starting pay rate of between £9-£10 per hour depending on experience.

The Employer

This company specialise in motorsport parts manufacturing but also deal with general engineering and sub-contracting services to various industries. They are currently looking for an experience individual to join their manufacturing team.

The Job

- Setting up CNC and bench machinery

- Set and operate CNC Turning machines

- Reading and working from Engineering Drawings

- Quality checking own work using Micrometres, Calipers and Verniers checking every 5 - 10 parts

The Ideal Candidate

- Ability to operate and set CNC Turning Machines

- Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain controls

- Knowledge of good machine shop practice

- Being able to read and work from engineering drawings

- Knowledge of quality control procedures

Salary Range & Benefits
