Lecturer in Music - Broxbourne Campus - Permanent - Part Time 21.6 hours per week
Hertford Regional College is seeking a Lecturer in Music who can support and inspire our students to achieve successful outcomes. You will deliver teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support at various levels of 16-19 vocational study, including university level tuition. Your passion for your subject, high expectations and organised course delivery will encourage our students to make swift progress and produce their best work. You will have a valuable say in course development, evaluation and review in collaboration with a high performing team. Hertford Regional College's Creative Arts subjects have recently been amongst the top 10 in the country for student outcomes. Our students are capable, driven and led by excellent teaching and support staff, using industry standard facilities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic qualified teacher with a degree in a related subject and experience in Music industry environments. You will have sound knowledge in areas of Music and Production, experience of teaching in a learning environment and experience supporting young people to succeed. Your industry experience and ability to work flexibly as a team player will be essential to the position, as will excellent organisational skills. The ability to deliver vocal tuition to a high standard would be beneficial.
Ideally, you will have a full teaching qualification, although candidates with industry expertise and a willingness to undertake high quality teacher training offered within the college will be considered.

Hours: 21.6 hours per week
Salary: £25,910 to £33,030 FTE (Actual Salary: £15,546 - £19,818) per annum depending on experience and qualifications
Annual Leave: 42 days per annum pro rata plus bank and public holidays
