Peabody has an opportunity for Housing Support Worker to join the team based in Bexhill-on-Sea. You will join us on a part time permanent basis working 15 hours per week and you will receive a competitive salary of £22,250 per annum (pro rata). Pathways is a 24 hour supported housing scheme providing support to 12 residents with mental health & various other support needs.  Pathways is currently rated as excellent by both internal & external reviews. The Housing Support Worker role: As our Housing Support Worker you will take part in the Out of Hours on call system at Pathways; this will involve responding to out of hours calls and may involve attending site and / or conducting sleep in shifts at short notice. You will also accurately input all client data onto an electronic monitoring system and ensure records are maintained to evidence key performance targets, and comply with commissioner requirements. This is a part-time role - 15 hours per week on a shift pattern including early, late & weekends. Key responsibilities of our Housing Support Worker: - Carry out needs and risk assessments, complete support plans, provide support, and carry out reviews, in accordance with policies and procedures and the requirements of stakeholders and funders - Hold a caseload of clients, and provide support to them on a keywork basis at the scheme or at an alternative venue if required - Provide practical and emotional support to customers to achieve the outcomes set out in their recovery support plan - Support customers to identify, move into and sustain housing which meets their needs, including supporting customers to ‘bid’ for properties and report maintenance issues - Support customers to maximise their income, to access benefits and to budget appropriately - Support customers to make full use of community facilities, play an active role in their community and take up cultural, recreational, educational and employment opportunities - Support customers to maximise their physical and mental health, through liaison with health services and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle - Support customers to develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with their family, friends, carers and other  professionals Benefits of becoming our Housing Support Worker: - 25 days leave plus bank holidays - Paid Mileage at 44p per mile - Up to 4% pension contribution matched 1:1 - Spot Bonus awards - Long Service awards - Paid Induction Training - Paid Enhanced DBS - Annual pay review If you feel have the skills and experience to become our Housing Support Worker please click ‘apply’ today, we’d love to hear from you!
