Position: Day Support Worker
Location: Cardiff (Oldwell Court)
Contract type: Part time, Permanent
Hours: 21 per week
Salary: £9,116 actual per annum

About the role:
We are currently recruiting a part time Day Support Worker to join our dedicated Day Support Team in Cardiff. As part of a team, you will provide person-centred support to people affected by dementia ensuring that everyone attending experiences an exemplary service and is enabled and supported to participate in activities which best meet their emotional and physical needs.
About you:
We would like to hear from you if you are passionate about supporting and empowering people with dementia and have experience of dementia either personally or professionally. Experience of caring for others is important as is excellent communication and people skills. We offer full induction and training in this specialist area of work. The successful candidate will have a rewarding job and will be helping to make a considerable difference to a number of families affected by dementia.
Someone with a D1 driving license would be desirable but not essential.
