Part-Time Occupational Health Advisor – £48,300 (Pro-rata for 4-day working week)

Principal People are working with an established multi-disciplinary organisation who are looking to move from strength to strength, this is a newly created role to support the expanding organisation’s provision of occupational health working alongside the wider Health, Safety and Well-being team. The role will have the autonomy to manage their own workload and diary with occasional home working available once established within the role.

Working alongside the external occupational health provider you will play a key role in the development and implementation of an occupational health strategy based on referrals to identify and support the wider safety team and operational managers to reduce work related health hazards.

The Successful Occupational Health and Wellbeing Advisor will:

Support the current safety team identifying risks to the health of staff and reducing these
Oversee the external occupational health provider and ensure good standards of practice
Lead on unique and complex topics with regards to well-being and ocupational health
Support operational staff and managers to maintain the positive approach to safe working

The ideal Occupational Health and Wellbeing Advisor candidate will:

Hold a proven track record of managing occupational health within a diverse or complex working environment
Be a qualified Nurse with experience of providing screening, advice, and triage services
Understand how to work with external occupational health providers
