It will support the Head of Finance (Development) and key stakeholders within the Development directorate in all aspects of financial management, including generating and drafting reports; and the preparation of budgets, long-term forecasts and cash flow projections, ensuring these represent the views of the business to enable effective management of budget and financial risks.

The role will also include working with internal teams and external suppliers to make sure that projects are delivered on time, to budget and with consideration to the community engagement and stakeholder relations.

This role is a on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

The Person

The Project Supports will be a key part of the team providing support to the team on property development projects. Good experience of supporting projects is a must, but full training will be provided as part of a relevant qualification.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must when engaging with a variety of stakeholders and internal departments. Being able to prioritise and having good organisational skills will enable you to adapt to a wide range of project requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with some experience in project management who is looking to develop their skills and take the next step in their career; through undertaking a qualification whilst learning on the job as part of some large scale, complex and high profile projects.
