PART-TIME SITE HOST/RECEPTIONIST

Hours and days of work - Monday’s 9-5/Wednesday’s 5.30-9/Friday’s 8-430. Salary - £8,685

You would be expected to work 1 Saturday a month (with advanced overtime rates) as well as one evening a week working until 9pm included in the weekly hours worked which totals 18 hours.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to be a car driver and owner. The role will be based in Derby but you will also be asked to cover Chesterfield as well as offices in between so this role would suit someone who doesn’t mind travelling to different locations.

The role:

You will be the first contact point for all of our visitors and therefore it is important that you help create a positive image of the organisation that reflects our values, aims and objectives.

You will provide a courteous and efficient front of house service receiving and assisting service users, and ensuring the smooth operation and functioning of the reception area including the reporting of any facilities management issues. You will aim to ensure that any requests are resolved first time and will provide support and guidance to customers as required. Experience of dealing with visitors face to face, ideally in a reception environment is essential along with conflict resolution and problem solving skills.

You will be responsible for room bookings and ensuring that rooms are prepared as requested with site provisions if required. Site Hosts will support service users with utilising Biometrics and service user portals. Experience of operating within an office environment is required and excellent customer skills are advantageous. Excellent knowledge and use of ICT systems including Microsoft Office and Outlook is preferred. You will also provide some administrative support to case managers as required with relevant training being available in case management recording systems.

You will complete building inductions for visitors and new staff and be aware of appropriate health and safety and information security requirements. Experience of distribution and reconciliation of petty cash payments is advantageous along with experience of ordering site provisions. The post holder will have excellent communication skills, be approachable, proactive and professional.

This role will require flexible working across different sites, evening work and weekend work.
