Joining our client as a Teacher in Travel and Tourism, you will provide high quality teaching and assessment of learner work that enables all to achieve well; providing outstanding pastoral and support mechanisms for all learners and promoting, implementing and supporting learner’s personal and social development. This is a part time role to cover 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Planning and producing learning programs on a range of programs using a differentiated range of resources that actively engage and develop learning, you will deliver learning programs that can accurately track and monitor learner progress from initial starting points and an appropriate assessment strategy that allows all learners to timely complete all associated learning programs. You will have a genuine desire to improve the life chances of learners. The College has an excellent reputation, and this is a real opportunity for you to make a difference in people’s lives. They are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated individual with Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2, a relevant degree and successful teaching experience using a range of teaching and learning methods. You should have relevant industrial knowledge and understanding of travel and tourism operations, industry trends and airlines and airports experience and a background in the delivery of level 1, 2 & 3Travel programs and of developing and supporting 16-18 learners.
