This is a great opportunity to join a nationally recognised and committed team, supporting service users and their carers as a Senior Practitioner in Therapy Services.

Position: Senior Practitioner – Therapy Services

Location: Rutland

Salary: £35,934 - £38,813 (pro-rata) Scale PO2

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week

The Role

The Senior Practitioner will:

 

  • Manage their own complex caseload.
  • Be responsible for the operational day to day management of a team of Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants and Physiotherapists.
  • Developing others, providing clinical advice and support and working closely with the management team to continually develop the service offered.

 

About You

As Senior Practitioner you will have:

 

  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in a community, hospital or adult social care setting,
  • Experience of supervising staff, monitoring and allocating workloads.
  • A good understanding of risk management, particularly around complex and high risk issues,
  • Be able to develop effective working relationships with partner agencies to from a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration
