Do you have excellent customer service skills? Are you motivated, organised and looking for a new and rewarding role? Our client is looking for someone to join their fundraising team as a Community Fundraiser.

Position: Community Fundraising Officer

Location: Wiltshire, flexible home / office based, with a minimum 2 days per week at either Semington or Salisbury office

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday plus occasional weekend/evening working

Salary: £22,212 - £24,472

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: 28 days’ holiday in addition to bank holidays, 5% employer contribution to pension, free annual eye tests

The Role

The Community Fundraising Officer will be a member of a dynamic team of committed and passionate individuals working together to raise the profile of carers and support the work of the charity. The main purpose of the Community Fundraising Officer role is to raise funds from local organisations and donors to support projects. This is an outward facing role which will include networking, making funding applications, organising events and fundraising appeals.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic, outgoing and organised person with a passion for helping others. Voluntary sector experience is not essential, but you will have demonstrable experience in a client or public facing role such customer service or sales. You may have experience organising events, volunteering, fundraising or communications. Our client is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity.
