We have an opening for a Waiter/Waitress to join a growing luxury brand in Matlock. Our client offers exceptional food and surroundings at their restaurant and bistro and you will give a warm welcome and a smooth, seamless service to their owners and the general public. Whether you’re taking reservations, seating customers, advising on the menu, serving afternoon tea, promoting the village and our luxury spa, or sharing a joke with regulars, you’ll deliver an exceptional service. It’s a varied role. You’ll also help service our guest suites, answer owners’ enquiries, keep an eye on stock levels, help set up for special events, and keep everywhere looking scrupulously clean.

The skills you’ll need

Taking pride in everything you do is the essential quality you’ll need for this role. You will put the customer first at all times. Warm, professional and empathetic, as well as smartly turned out, you’ll develop a real rapport with our owners and customers. Previous experience in hospitality – and of handling cash – would be great – but is not essential. You will however need to be flexible about the shifts you work.
