Telesales Executive
Manchester City Centre
£20,000 + Comission
We are looking for a bubbly and professional individual to join our award winning team in a not-for-profit organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse historical data and trends related to specific products in order to identify target markets to make outbound sales calls to.
- Make outbound sales calls to generate open/bespoke course bookings, apprenticeship / traineeship opportunities, identify wider opportunities as appropriate and secure high quality, pre-qualified appointments for sales staff to visit.
- Identify e-shot campaigns to support the delivery of the business plan and to meet Commercial sales targets. Support the creation of e-shots with suitable content aimed at generating increased course bookings, qualification renewals and apprenticeship vacancies.
- Respond to incoming enquiries from employers and individuals about The Skills Company provision in order to generate commercial sales, apprenticeship/traineeship starts or course bookings.
- Liaise with trainers to negotiate delivery rates and agree dates. Source alternative training solutions where required in conjunction with the Commercial Manager.
- Negotiate and agree course rates with clients. Input to programme design based on diagnosis of needs.
- Input to incentive schemes and campaigns run by the Commercial team.
- Maintain sales records to enable follow up by delivery teams and other sales staff and to support the production of MI.
- Produce and analyse statistical data on the results of campaign activity, web promotions etc to inform future sales and promotional activity.
- Maintain an account management relationship with key customers.
Who will you be working with?
- There is a range of provision promoted, including HE courses, commercial short courses, bespoke programmes, apprenticeships, traineeships and adult courses.
- The scope of the role includes deciding on target markets, negotiating prices with associate trainers and rates with clients, inputting to pricing and incentive schemes and inputting to programme design based on telephone diagnosis of business needs.
- The generation of sales income in line with the relevant service’s business plan.
- The use of systems including CRM and e-shot.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent telephone skills and ability to influence over the phone
- Excellent IT skills including all key computer packages
- Ability to negotiate and upsell/cross-sell
- Ability to use initiative
- Good planning/organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
Previous Experience:
- Experience working on the telephone.
- Good product knowledge and understanding of target markets
- Target driven and highly motivated
