Role Profile - Research & Strategy Analyst.docx

We are looking for a Research & Strategy Analyst to join our dynamic and driven Research and Strategy team. This is an exciting role within a small dynamic team working at the heart of shaping L&Q’s future strategic direction.

Reporting to the Research and Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking in-depth research on relevant markets, market commentary, statistical and data analysis and policy advice. As such you should have experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and a proven ability to analyse and interpret complex data.

In addition this role will entail responding to external consultations and disseminating information throughout the business in the form of briefings or reports. It is essential that you are then able to present key findings and trends to a range of audiences both written and verbally, which might also include recommendations for policy change having regard for their impact on the wider business.

Where new product development is necessary, your role will be to support and in certain instances; to act as project lead and so excellent project management skills are needed. The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers will be essential as you help to influence decisions and outcomes for strategic and operational goals. The ability to research and develop business assumptions would be desirable as they are then translated into long term business plans.

A good knowledge of the social housing sector and wider political climate would be essential as the ability to generate ideas and proposals for the research strategy would be something that you are able to contribute to.

The ability to use all MS Office will be essential to this role.
