Play an integral role in helping achieve assurance across global transaction reporting.

Joining our Market Operation Division as a permanent Executive, you will be involved in the independent assurance testing of regulatory reporting, with a focus on transaction reporting, for the European region (e.g. EMIR, MIFIR, REMIT).

This is a new team within Market Operations, so your ideas will make an impact and help create real change. Initially, you will be involved in project work assisting with the delivery of completeness and accuracy checks across multiple regimes. In parallel, as the controls are rolled out, you will be responsible for the daily investigation of exceptions that may arise from these controls, liaising with various areas of our Macquarie (including other operations teams, the Front Office, Compliance and Technology).  You will also be responsible for the preparation and distribution of management/stakeholder reports.

With prior experience in financial markets, you will be able to pick up information quickly, take ownership of the operating effectiveness of the assurance testing and have good relationship management and influencing skills.  You will have a strong eye for detail and an analytical mind in order to drive the team’s success. Additionally, you will have strong investigation skills and a further understanding of APAC, European and North American Regulations would be advantageous.
