Mediplacements are recruiting for a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist who is looking to work in the London region.
Start Date: ASAP
Hours Per Week: Part Time
Grade: Band 6
Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist
• Experience in working within a mainstream and resource base and/or special school environment essential. Experience in supporting children/young people with specific language difficulties and more complex presentations would be an advantage.
• The therapist will be expected to oversee the planning and management of their caseload and interventions, and supporting / supervising the planning of caseload management of band 5 and other junior staff members within the designated locality area.
• The therapist will be expected to provide a high standard of speech and language therapy care to children and young people including those with complex needs within a mainstream and/or special school environment evidencing a high level of problem solving, reasoning skills and independence of judgement, using evidence based/person centred principles.
• The therapist will be expected to actively contribute to our integrated model of service delivery and the development of our integrated working.
