Position: Puppy Training Coordinator Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire  Job type: Part Time, Permanent Hours: 15 hours per week Salary: £17,874 to £22,343 p/a pro rata (£7,149.60 to £8,937.20 for part time) depending on experience Benefits: Pension Scheme, Annual Leave, wide range of discounts at high street shops, Employee Assistance Programme Closing date for applications: 14th July, 2019 1st Interview Date (Practical Assessment Centre): 01 August 2019  2nd Interview Date: 12 August 2019 All interviews will take place at our Midlands Training Centre in Osgathorpe, Leicestershire About the role:  This is an exciting opportunity to join the Puppy Training Team as a Puppy Trainer. This role is at the forefront of our assistance dog training programme and is responsible for co-ordinating and monitoring the progress of the puppies to ensure they receive the highest standard of socialisation and early training in order to maximise their chances of becoming qualified working Canine Partner. Responsibilities: - Providing on-going training, support and advice to volunteer Puppy Parents. - Carrying out home visits and classes for Puppy Parents. - Recruiting Puppy Parents. - Monitoring progress of puppies. About you:  - Experience of training puppies. - Demonstrable dog training knowledge and skills. - A working knowledge of the assessment of puppy and dog behaviour and traits. - Coaching and training skills. - Current UK driving licence or able to provide transport to enable visits. - Ideally you will be located within the boundary for the satellite or close to our training centre. Ideally, you will also have experience of working with volunteers. You will be confident communicating with volunteers, staff, our partners, and visitors alike and be able to provide an all-important positive and professional impression of Canine Partners at all times.
