Band 7 Pharmacist
Band 7 Pharmacist required for an NHS trust in Birmingham. Part time 26 hours Monday - Friday.
Main role - To help the Head Pharmacists at both Moseley Hall Hospital and West Heath Hospital to develop pharmaceutical services on each site, covering annual, study and sick leave.
To maintain high quality services to our patients (clients) every member of staff should establish good working relationships and clear communications with colleagues, other departments, external organisations and the public.
Responsibilities
The post-holder with have responsibility for the delivery of training around medicines and medicines management.
The post-holder does not have any line management or budgetary responsibilities.
Main Duties
*Dispensing and checking of prescriptions, including competent in the use of the computer system.
*To clarify poorly written prescription charts, discharge letters and other forms for prescribing.
*To query irrational or inappropriate prescribing, including unlicensed, off-licence and non-formulary prescribing.
Registered dietitian Band 6 available to start ASAP within Worcester on a minimum contract of 3 months.
The hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week over 4 or 5 Days but part time may be considered.
Requirements:
*You must have at least 12 months previous experience in the NHS as a Band 7 Pharmacist
* Ideally you would be familiar with the Ascribe Pharmacy system however this is not essential.
