Big 4 firm looking to recruit a Global Mobility Assistant Manager for their Manchester office

Your new company
A Big 4 firm with a UK presence, part of a global network of firms. This firm offers Audit, Tax, Consulting and Deal Advisory services. With offices across the UK, this Big 4 accountancy practice work's with organisations from small start-ups and individuals to major multinationals. They work within 23 industry sectors, from Corporates to Financial Services, Infrastructure to Government, Energy to Retail, Healthcare to Hospitality. Due to growth within the firm, this practice is looking to recruit multiple tax professionals across their specialisms.

Your new role
Your new role as a Global mobility assistant manager will involve being the day to day contact for allocated clients and the review of tax returns, and preparation/review of Income Tax/NIC calculations. With Global Mobility Services you will be heavily advisory focused and be accountable for the preparation of written advice for your clients on GMS issues. You will conduct arrival/departure briefings and ensure clients are provided with up to date information on GMS developments with an involvement in business development/proposals.
At this level you will also have an involvement in the management and coaching of more junior staff.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have international tax services experience with a UK Expat tax background, including tax briefings, tax returns and advisory. You will also have experience of managing global assignee populations and experience of immigration, social security and compensation accumulation for different countries. Alternatively, this firm will consider someone from another specialist tax area looking to branch out into GM, or someone from a broad tax background with strong advisory skills from a reputable firm. You will be committed and ambitious with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well to deadlines.
