Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a big difference to the lives of others?

What a heart warming feeling it is to bring a smile to anothers face. But do you know what lasts longer than a smile? The feeling of supporting and empowering people with learning disabilities and autism to live a life that makes sense to them.

Seeing the difference that YOU can make. Now that IS rewarding….

We are seeking experienced and non experienced Support Workers to join us at our supported living setting with 1-1 support.

About us

We are an Award winning Charity that has the core belief that everyone has potential, something to offer and a valuable contribution to make to their community.

We use a person centered approach to keep the people we support safe, happy and healthy and to ensure each individual is able to live a life that makes sense to them. Using a Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategy ensures we see the person first, not their disability.

What you will be doing

We’re seeking fun loving, caring and passionate people to help support people (aged between 20-40) to live as independently as possible whilst providing the care and attention they need to live a life that that makes sense to them.

Not only will you be actively involved in a wide range of activities from the everyday living needs, you’ll be supporting with health and medical appointments, providing emotional reassurance and intimate care.

This is a full time post (38 hours per week) covering shift patterns which include: Days, evenings, nights and weekends - 7.30am to 3pm & 2.30 to 10pm and 2 sleep ins per week.

The work is demanding and it’s not for everyone but the ulitmate reward is the heart felt feeling of being able to see the positive impact you're able to have on anothers life and this is something that you'll never forget.

What we need from you

No experience? No problem! As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we’ll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our on-going training, together, we can deliver the best possible support.
