Job Details
Are you a Scrum Master advocate? Can you improve an Agile working environment? Do you love supporting colleagues on key projects? If yes, then we may have the role for you!
As a Scrum Master, you will be part of our amazing Integration team, where you will champion the management and governance of Agile projects. You will work closely with the integration leadership team to deliver good Agile practices and add value across a range of projects. You will inspire your colleagues to work more efficiently, and help set up key milestones during project life cycles.
So what would you be doing?...
• Partnering with stakeholders to deliver business requirements
• Assisting with the delivery of requirements and defining milestones for projects
• Organising sprint plans, prioritisations, product elaborations and sprint demos
• Identifying and implementing new ways to improve our current process
• Removing any obstacles that can prevent the team from achieving sprint goals
• Nurturing colleagues to embrace changes to their way of working
You need to be this kind of person…
• Passionate about providing unparalleled levels of service and convenience for customers
• Prepared to stick at something - we get nervous if someone has jumped from job to job
• Comfortable prioritising several tasks and pieces of work
We always support colleagues to develop their skills. But to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to do most of these wonderful things...
• We need you to have good experience as a Scrum Master on IT projects
• Understanding of Jira or Confluence would be amazing
• In order to excel in this role, you will have excellent project planning experience, and be able to interpret requirements into technical tasks
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• It would be fantastic, if you can demonstrate good knowledge around best process governance
IMPORTANT FOOTNOTE;
Diverse teams really are the best teams. We know that candidates (especially women, research tells us) may be put off applying for a job unless they can tick every box. We also know that ‘normal’ office hours aren’t always doable, and while we can’t accommodate every flexible working request we are happy to be asked. So if you are excited about working with us and think you can do much of what we are looking for but aren’t sure if you are 100% there yet… why not give it a whirl? Good luck!
