Exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Risk Management Group and gain exposure to key Risk & Compliance Projects within the Macquarie Group.

In this role you will join an experienced team and focus on developing and maintaining strategic Trade Surveillance solutions, driven by regulatory change in state of the art technologies (AWS, Big Data stacks, Data Visualisation tools etc).

Day to day you will engage with stakeholders across the business to identify, assess, and manage business requirements and collaborate with technologists to develop quality solutions and document new models.

You’ll have the opportunity to produce project artefacts including use cases, functional / non-functional requirements specifications, process maps, data flows and technical specifications. You will work with the team to propose detailed designs and delivery of solutions that ensure requirements are met and benefits are realised, whilst identifying, communicating and managing risks to solution delivery.

You’ll bring with you 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally gained within the financial services sector and with a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle preferred. Strong data analysis skills, with an understanding of XML/ JSON and prior experience in data mapping/ modelling and FpML or FIXML would be advantageous.

The role will allow you the opportunity to leverage proven techniques to elicit and analyse business needs whilst providing key input into solutions that meet and exceed client requirements.
