This popular Medway secondary school are looking to recruit a Teacher of Humanities for September 2019.

This role could be filled on either a permanent or temporary basis and options are also available for a full or part time timetable.

The successful teacher will have a Geography timetable but as part of the Humanities team will be relied on to teach some History, RE or Citizenship. A timetable can be developed to best suit the chosen teacher. This school places significant importance on teacher workload concerns and work life balance so you be assured that you will get ample time to plan fantastic lessons and supported with joint planning and assessment sessions.

In order to be considered for this role you must have:

A basic understanding of the Humanities curriculum – Geography, History or RE

Ability to inspire students in the classroom

Ability to teach mixed ability classes

Innovative teaching style

Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies
