We are currently looking for an individual to join our team in Bury St. Edmunds on a Part Time basis - 16 hours per week, this is a permanent contract.

In Bury St. Edmunds we have two supported living houses which are home to 6 adults with a learning disability.

Our Support Workers promote independence and encourage the people we support to choose the activities they wish to do. You will be getting very involved with things like going to the bingo, taking individuals to the theatre, going out for lunch and to do shopping, taking trips to the seaside and ensuring that the people we support visit their families as often as they wish to.

Other duties will involve assisting or supervising cooking and cleaning tasks, delivering personal care at different levels and financial budgeting.

You will help them to lead the life they choose. We focus on person centred support, tailored to individual's needs.

You will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the people we support. Shifts patterns will include, but are not limited to the following: 8am - 4pm 4pm - 10pm and you may be required to complete 1 or 2 sleep shifts per week, which start at 10pm - 7am. Rotas are completed with advance and the role will involve work over weekends and bank holidays.
