Join our Virgin Media Business team as our Security Compliance Manager and you will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information assets and systems.

Your responsibilities will be wide ranging, but principally you will be accountable for:

• Implementing and operating the information security management system in accordance with ISO27001 and CAS(T) and ensures all supporting compliance documentation is accurate, up to date and available
• Undertaking Security Impact Assessments and managing the on-boarding of new products and change initiatives ensuring compliance to policies, standards and regulations such as ISO27001, CAS(T) and GDPR
• Providing subject matter expertise to the business for remediation and management of gaps, risks and audit findings to ensure compliance to policies, standards and regulations
• Identifying, raising and tracking security risks across the organisation
• Responding to security incidents and breaches, conducts investigations, reports results and recommends mitigation strategies
• Understanding security technologies and approaches and making appropriate recommendations to the business to help them make informed strategic decisions
• Producing collateral and training for the business to ensure Security Awareness, Compliance, Risk and Business Continuity Plans/Disaster Recovery is understood

What are we looking for?

• Passionate, self-motivated and driven with a hunger for learning and growth
• Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
• Strong inter-personal and collaboration skills with the ability to interact at all levels, building and strengthening positive relationships at every touch point
• Experience working in project and product management functions
• Ability to deliver information security with a commercial business driven approach
• Experience managing controls in standards such as ISO 27001, CAS(T) and or legal and regulatory legislation such as SOX, PCI or GDPR
• Experience managing audits and certification processes
• Good understanding of risk management
• Experience conducting IT Health Checks, Cyber Essentials Plus, Penetration Testing
• Be able to hold security clearance, minimum of BPSS up to and inclusive of NPPV L3 and SC
• Ideally educated to degree level and holding a professional Information Security qualification such as CISSP or CISM
• Demonstrable experience in an Information Security role
