Purpose of Role:

GVC are seeking a Biddable Executive to join the Central Hub with a strong programmatic and paid social background to build, execute and analyse biddable media strategies across multiple channels and brands. Working closely with GVC brand teams, this is an opportunity for someone with sound digital skills to take responsibility for both programmatic and paid social campaigns to further improve brand awareness, engagement, share of voice and direct response performance.

  

The role will combine direct ownership and execution of both programmatic and paid social campaigns for GVC brands along with day-to-day duties in relation to managing brands including exposure of additional digital channels while using the wider ad technology stack.

The primary focus for this position will be on the real-time optimisation of programmatic and paid social campaigns across the group's brands, therefore, a passion and knowledge for the industry in which the brands operate in is essential. The role would suit a candidate with previous client-side experience, or alternatively someone agency side who is seeking to gain experience in a more business-focussed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy, planning and execution of programmatic and paid social campaigns across all platforms that cover acquisition, retention.engagement and brand KPIs
  • Managing and coordinating reporting across all campaigns and brands
  • Forming weekly and monthly campaign budget plan and tracking spend forecasts (including performance)
  • Responsible for full campaign management including daily pacing, real-time reporting, optimisation and testing to improve performance
  • Responsible for building and ongoing management of programmatic and paid social tracking, reporting and analysis - weekly & monthly for all major metrics, goals and KPIs
  • Support the creation of in-depth analysis, setting benchmarks, identifying trends & opportunities
  • Liaising and assisting with the management of additional digital channels (PPC, SEO etc) via external agencies and internal teams
  • Develop automated systems/tools and processes to ensure efficiencies across channels
  • Liaise with key partners, keeping up to date with social landscape and latest tech

Specialist skills and experience

  •  The ideal candidate would have 2+ years experience in digital media roles 
  • BA/BS degree of equivalent practical experience
  • Broad functional industry experience in the ad tech industry and common internet technologies
  • Experience in managing CPA, CPE, CPV, CPC, and CPM campaigns including campaign setup, optimisation and post campaign analysis
  • Natural passion for technology and the associated tracking technologies in the execution of digital advertising (i.e. web analytics, behavioural targeting, and other optimisation technologies).
  • Comprehensive experience in using DSP’s, Ad Servers, Paid Social Platforms, DMP’s, tracking tools/techniques, tag management and analytics

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets) and Powerpoint to aid internal reporting
  • Able to build strong relationships externally & internally and leverage these to meet business demands.
  • Ability to set goals and execute under tight budgets
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English.
  • Experience of in the Gaming/Gambling sector is preferable but not essential.
