Qualifications
- HNC or HND in Construction
- Degree in Building Surveying / MRICS or MCIOB desirable
Knowledge
- A detailed knowledge of Building Construction
- Working knowledge of CDM
- Working knowledge of Building Regulations
Project Management skills and experience including designing, specifying and managing projects from inception to completion and within
budgetary constraints, together with necessary site supervision of works in progress, co-ordination with contractors
Skills
- Ability to schedule workloads and to work to deadlines
- Able to work alone and as a team member
- Good communication skills and the ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports
- Able to communicate with stakeholders both internal (LBB) and external (Leaseholders)
- Good IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Able to use CAD
Experience
- Experience in working in a similar role
- Ability to design and compile customer funded improvement schemes
- Able to prepare technical specifications for works
- Able to prepare technical drawings for schemes
- Ability to prepare budget costs for projects
- Working understanding of building contracts
- Management of contractors
- Full contract administration
Additional
- Car driver with full license and use of own vehicle
- Able to carry out property inspections including use of steps and ladders
