Care Home Cook – Norwich NR6 7BQ (Weekends, Part Time)

We are looking for a motivated, friendly, responsible cook to work in our client’s fantastic care home based in Norwich.

Our clients care Home provides 24 hour residential and dementia care in a friendly home from home environment. Meals are freshly cooked, with menus featuring traditional foods. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for.

* You will be involved in providing all aspects of food preparation; taking into account any special dietary requirements of the resident's

* Duties will also include developing menus, ordering food, stock control and maintaining kitchen cleanliness

About the role

* Experienced cook with a knowledge of best practice guidelines

* Warm, friendly and committed

* Experience in a Care Home setting is desirable but not essential

* Hold a current food hygiene certificate/preparation NVQ certificate

Job Type: Part-time, Weekends 8am – 2pm (with alternative Sundays off)

Salary: between £8.50 and £9.00 per hour (dependant on experience and qualifications)
