Purosearch are currently recruiting for an outstanding charity based in central London. We are looking for an experienced Education Engagement Manager.
What the charity does...
We are a charitable foundation, seeking to expand what we do beyond face-to-face education workshops. We want to create a world where teachers, parents, students, and ultimately governments all play a part in educating the next generation.
What we are looking for
• Experience of strategy development, planning, implementation and execution.
• Experience in community engagement in an educational context.
• Proven ability to build and nurture effective relationships with a diverse range of educational institutions.
• Knowledge of educational institutions and Local Council Authority governance
• Passionate about improving education for young people.
• Keen to leverage your networks of schools, educators and community groups.
• Experience in developing volunteer quality control/assurance/metrics
• Experience of training plan development for external use
• Experience in training and managing volunteers
• Experience in developing new business- Speaking to schools and school networks
• Happy to travel when needed
• Experience in developing content for marketing and PR roll-outs.
We need someone to help deliver and develop partnerships with schools and community networks. We need someone who will own their role, someone who will work across a range of schools, community networks and local authorities to consistently increase school acquisition.
You will support a number of exciting network development projects including developing new regional hubs to ensure high quality education for schools in the area. This will include developing partnerships with school and community networks as well as delivering leadership and strategy for our Ambassador network.
