Manpower are currently recruiting a part time multi skilled engineer for our client based in Glasgow City centre.
This role will involve a variety of tasks as you will be the maintenance person for a large office site.
The tasks may include:
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities as defined by the contract requirements to maintain systems and assets in line with Manufacturers and Industry best practice guidelines on both Fabric & Electrical components.
* Respond to emergency and reactive events as directed by the Helpdesk, assess the situation, make safe and effect repairs.
* Provide timely updates to the helpdesk on progress of reactive works and completion of reactive / planned tasks
* Follow company processes and systems for all work activities
* Provide written technical reports as required; including routine maintenance and reactive reports
* Safe and proper use of tools and secure use of tools and equipment
* Undertake job specific risk assessments as may be required prior to starting work
* Repair of internal and external building fabric and finishes, including minor repairs to doors, walls, FF&E within own competence and skillset
* Carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by management.
* To travel between both sites to carry out PPM’s and reactive works as required.
To be successful for this role you need to be a Fully qualified Building Fabric technician within facilities maintenance structure and some basic electrical knowledge.
The hours of work will be 8am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
