Play a key role in our corporate operations data science team, based in London. You will be taking our data platforms and practice to the next level using the latest technologies and techniques.  Join us on our journey as we transform the Macquarie trading business!

We are looking for a Business Analyst with an agile mindset, a passion for data and a keen interest in financial markets. You will work on a wide variety of initiatives from regulatory data governance to data science across our trading and data analytics areas, establishing requirements, developing approaches to solve problems and being part of delivery. 

Expertise in requirements management, stakeholder communication, technical analysis and project development and delivery is required. Exposure to data management, modern big data platforms, cloud services will help you be successful in this role. To be successful in this role you will have a proven track of record working as a Business Analyst within a trading organization with strong detailed knowledge of FIX messages; demonstrable experience working on client on-boarding and regulatory projects such as MIFID2 as a comprehensive knowledge of one of the asset classes preferably equities will be a key. Degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering or similar will be beneficial.
