Our client, a local authority in Coventry, has a unique position available for a Practice Development Social Worker. This position is on a 3 month temporary contract initially but it does have the potential to become something more long term. My client would ideally like someone who can start the position immediately.
This role would suit someone who has substantial experience working as a Qualified Social Worker, especially within a statutory setting for Adults. Knowledge of health lifestyle and behaviour changes is key, alongside the ability to distribute good practice and learning into teams. You will be responsible for training internal Adult Services staff groups as well as supporting the delivery of the Making Every Contact Count (MECC) Programme which aims to improve healthy lifestyles across Coventry.
This is a part-time position, working 2.5 days a week. Please be aware the rate provided is only a guide, it will be negotiable dependant on experience.
