Our rapidly expanding client based in central London are now seeking to recruit an Executive Assistant and Bookkeeper working 25 hours a week.

You will be joining an independent, market-leading professional services company that helps organisations to extract value from the growing amounts of information they generate, receive, store and manage.

We are looking for a part time Executive Assistant and Bookkeeper to support the day-to- day running of a small, rapidly growing information governance company catering to clients in a vast array of industries (Finance, Insurance, Legal, Pharma and Retail).

This is a varied role and requires someone with all-round experience in PA work, bookkeeping and operations.

The client is flexible around how the part time week could be structured, although their preference would be that you work shorter days (5 hours), 5 days per week.

We're looking for you to be a confident individual who possesses great people and problem- solving skills and who can multitask. The role requires you to run the office, be involved in all aspects of the business; accounts payable and receivable; bank reconciliations; admin and PA duties, reporting to the Director of Operations and Finance.

Salary and Package:
*Salary is £35,000 Pro Rata for 25 hours per week, equalling circa £23,500 per annum.
*Annual bonus - linked to personal performance and a share of annual company profit
*25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (prorated)

Duties will include, but not be limited to:
*Managing accounts payable and receivable
*Creating purchase orders
*Processing and reconciling client and supplier purchase orders and invoices
*Reconciling bank account and business charge/credit statements
*Keeping all files updated and in order, maintaining scanned and electronically organised records
*Financial data input - Accountancy software tool
*Managing client software license purchases and maintenance renewals, liaising with the Sales team
*Maintaining a record of documents submitted to the accountant on a monthly basis
*Providing monthly, quarterly, annual and adhoc financial reports
*Processing and keeping records of Director's expenses
*Maintaining company policies and policy compliance registers
*Ensuring insurance policies are kept up to date
*Providing support to meetings
*Providing staff email notifications, scheduled and adhoc emails
*Monitoring office stationery and supplies
*Maintaining accurate HR records, including recruitment, staff onboarding
*Monthly pension contribution processing and staff pension record keeping
*Staff salary data input - Accountancy software tool

Qualifications
*Professional bookkeeping certifications are desirable, but not essential

Essential Role Requirements:
*Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
*Experience as an Executive/Personal Assistant
*Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
*Hands-on experience with accounting software - company uses Sage
*Sound knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft tools - very strong in Excel
*High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
*Strong administration and organisational skills
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to work independently
*Confidentiality
