Support Worker – a flexible role supporting people with learning disabilities
Salary: £8,561.40 to £9,197.20 per annum plus a geographical allowance of £560.60 per annum
Working hours: 20 hours per week
Location: Oxfordshire

We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced part timeSupport Worker to join our Witney and Banbury Supported Living complex on a permanent basis.
The service provides support to adults with learning disabilities who experience challenging and chaotic lifestyles. The service is staffed 24 hours and a sleep in is also provided.
The complex comprises of 9 independent flats in a Supported Living complex. There is a communal lounge, TV, PlayStation, kitchen, and laundry facilities on site. The communal kitchen is utilised to provide demonstrations of daily living skills to our customers, such as using a washing machine and cooking skills.
We also provide an outreach support service for customers with mental health & learning disabilities living in their own homes in the community providing housing related support to enable customers to gain the skills required to move on to independent living.
As an experienced Support Worker, you will help people to fulfil their lives in their home or out in the community. This might include motivating someone to eat healthily or visit the gym or providing support to a person with emotional problems, and help to access the community through support with shopping, health appointments and day to day activities.

• Previous experience in a Support Worker role
• Flexible to work on a rolling rota
• Good at working on your own and within a team
• Excellent at communicating with people
• Able to complete good quality support records
