Hays Healthcare currently have opportunities for an addictions recovery nurses and independent non-medical prescribers (NMP's) in and around the North West.

Your new role
We are looking for individuals who can work on a full, or part time, agency basis. There is the option to work a high volume of shifts, with the potential opportunity of block bookings.

* Dispensing and administering controlled drugs, such as opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions, benzodiazepine reductions, alcohol and opiate detoxification and relapse prevention medications.
* Ensuring high standards of care delivery through communicating, care planning and carrying out of comprehensive assessments.
* Monitoring and evaluating client's treatment to monitor progress and ensure effectiveness of treatments including evaluation of risk to self and others.
* Managing a caseload of substance misuse clients, mental health clients and clients presenting with other addictive behaviours.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You must be able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment, be an excellent communicator and be confident in your decision-making abilities and have addictions nursing experience.
If you are applying for Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) positions then you must hold (and be able to evidence) the V300 Independent prescribing qualification.
